Performance

The two electric motors that power the 2022 Ford F-150 combined with the lithium-ion battery provide you with an estimated 230-mile range if you use the standard battery and an estimated 300-mile range if you use the extended range battery. If most of your travel is in the city, the 230-mile range battery is plenty, but if you work outside the city or plan to take trips, you’ll want the 300-mile range battery.

The standard battery provides you with 426 horsepower, while the extended range battery provides you with 563 horsepower. Both provide you with 775 pound-feet of torque. With the extended range battery and the Max Trailer Tow Package, the 2022 F-150 Lightning can tow up to 10,000 pounds with the Pro, XLT, and Lariat trim levels.

With the standard battery and 18-inch wheels, the payload capacity is 2,000 pounds. Additionally, you can choose from four drive modes: Normal, Sport, Tow / Haul, and Off-Road.
